When you create receipts, we store the receipt data including customer names, items, amounts, and payment status. We also collect usage data such as page views and feature interactions to improve our service.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to provide and maintain our receipt generation service, send you important account notifications (e.g., payment confirmations, receipt alerts), improve and personalize your experience, and respond to your support requests. We never use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Data Storage & Security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. We use Clerk for authentication — your password is never stored on our servers. Database backups are performed daily and stored securely. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.
Third-Party Services
We use Clerk (authentication), Prisma/PostgreSQL (database), PayPal (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting). Each service provider has their own privacy policy governing the use of your information. PayPal processes payments — we never store credit card details on our servers.
Cookies
We use essential cookies required for authentication and basic functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your receipt data from your account settings. To request complete account deletion, contact us at arecky105@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the application.
